Join Your Local Policing Team for a Walk and Talk

Your local neighbourhood policing team would like to invite you to join us for a Community Walk and Talk event on:

Date: Sunday 18 October
Time: 10:30am
Meeting Point: The Pavilion, Church Road Recreation Ground

Weather permitting, we will take a walk around the local area, providing an opportunity for residents to meet their local officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), discuss any concerns they may have, and learn more about the work being undertaken in the community.

This is a family-friendly event and everyone is welcome. If you have a four-legged friend, dogs are welcome to join us too, provided they are kept under control throughout the walk.

What is a Walk and Talk?

A Walk and Talk is an informal community engagement event where residents can accompany members of their neighbourhood policing team on a walk around the local area. 

By walking through the area together, residents can point out locations of concern and discuss ways in which we can work together to improve the safety and wellbeing of our community.

We Look Forward to Seeing You

Community engagement plays an important role in helping us understand local concerns and identify ways to improve the area for everyone. We encourage residents of all ages to come along, meet their local policing team, enjoy a walk around the neighbourhood, and have their say.

Whether you're attending with family, friends, neighbours, or your dog, we'd love to see you there.
